January 21

Cowboy spent today cutting the bed down to fit on the bed frame he made last week. I had to laugh because he was having a hard time cutting off the rails he welded on not so very long ago. With those finally cut, he has the bed setting at a nice height. I told him it looked like a mini Apache.

It's starting to have a nice look to it. And very soon, I'll be making panels and seats for the interior and back to sewing car seats.

The Cowboy has taken full advantage of the weather the last few weeks. He's also found his limits for when it's too cold to work outside. We've been fortunate enough to have a few 50 to 60 degree days the last few weeks and he has been working like mad. He's gone from having two trucks in pieces in the driveway to one full running truck again.

The Apache cab is on the Blazer frame and welded. Welding was delayed because Cowboy burnt his welder out. Apparently 3 cars is all a small welder will last through. Today the minions were involved again, making templates, cutting metal, and sealing seams.
