July 15

The Cowboy cut out part of the Impala trunk to put into the Monte. It has the hangers for the gas tank already mounted to it. He then cut a hole in the Monte truck to mount it to later.

He also brought a huge half inch thick piece of bondo inside from the Monte. Once again, we see the amazing body work skills of the guy who restored this car and the Charger before we got them. He, not the Cowboy, but the bad bodywork dude , applied bondo to the trunk seams. To seal them.

Cowboy gets to do some patchwork to fix those. This also let us know, that yes, we will need entirely new quarter panels.  Thanks bad bodywork dude! Can't wait to see what other surprises you have in store for us on the Charger next year.
